BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) announced that it had signed an order with Belgian public transport operator De Lijn for 268 electric buses, model B12.b, which will be equipped with the integrated CTC Blade Battery chassis technology. De Lijn stated that the choice of BYD was primarily due to its battery safety and energy consumption performance.
