During this year's Golden Week holiday, new first-tier cities and county markets led the growth across China, the WeChat team released the 2025 National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday data report saying. The total consumption amount in the first five days of the long holiday (1-5 October) increased by 10% from this year's May Day holiday (29 April to 3 May).
