XIAOMI-W Splashes RMB630M to Acquire Beijing Land for Another New Plant: Report

Lei Jun, Chairman of XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), has recently announced that the YU7, Xiaomi's SUV model, is set to be launched at the end of this month.

Xiaomi Jingxi Technology (literal translation of "小米景曦科技"), a subsidiary of XIAOMI-W, has acquired an industrial land in Beijing Yizhuang New City at a starting price of RMB635 million, according to what the Southern Metropolis Daily learned from the Beijing Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Commission through an official channel.

The acquired land is located near XIAOMI-W's existing car factory. As indicated by the "Listing Transfer Announcement", it is intended for the production of new energy intelligent connected vehicles and components.

In July 2024, XIAOMI-W already acquired the YZ00-0606 block 0106 industrial project in Beijing Yizhuang New City, a land for the production of the soon-to-be-released YU7, involving RMB842 million, information showed.
