JD LOGISTICS Plans to Increase Pickup Pts in Sha Tin to 70+, Deploy Delivery Robots in Wan Chai

JD-SW (09618.HK) (JD.US) has announced the launch of a regional subsidy program across Hong Kong, with Sha Tin as its first stop.

Ken Yeung, head of JD-SW's operations in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, noted that the number of JD LOGISTICS (02618.HK)'s pickup points in Sha Tin will increase from over 40 to more than 70 within the next month.

Yeung also revealed that JDL Express has started using delivery robots in Hong Kong, with the first pilot site at China Resources Building in Wan Chai. The robots are currently being fitted with elevator control systems, and there are plans to expand their use to residential and other scenarios in the future.
