HK 2M25 Vol. of Total Exports of Goods Hikes by 4.6%, Imports Rise by 3.6%

Further to the external merchandise trade statistics in value terms for February 2025 released earlier on, the Census and Statistics Department of Hong Kong (C&SD) released today (15 April) the volume and price statistics of external merchandise trade for that month. Due to the difference in timing of the Chinese New Year holidays, it is more appropriate to analyze the trade figures for January and February taken together in making YoY comparison. Comparing the first two months of 2025 with the same period in 2024, the volume of Hong Kong's total exports of goods and imports of goods increased by 4.6% and 3.6% respectively. In February 2025, the volume of Hong Kong's total exports of goods and imports of goods increased by 13.8% and 9.9% respectively over February 2024. AAStocks Financial News |
