As of the end of December 2024, BABA-W (09988.HK)(BABA.US) reported revenue of RMB280.154 billion in 3FQ, up 7.6% YoY. By business segment, revenue from the Cloud Intelligence Group hiked 13% YoY to RMB31.742 billion. The group said that Alibaba Cloud revenue returned to double-digit growth, and AI-related product revenue maintained triple-digit year-over-year growth for the sixth consecutive quarter. Eddie Wu, Chief Executive Officer of Alibaba Group, said that this quarter’s results demonstrated substantial progress in its “user first, AI-driven” strategies. Looking ahead, revenue growth at Cloud Intelligence Group driven by AI will continue to accelerate, the CEO said.
